Promontory Place is a contemporary multifamily development in Salt Lake City, Utah, featuring a modern exterior palette of brick, large-format grey and white panels, and warm woodgrain architectural accents.
SAGIBATTEN 2″ x 4″ (50 mm x 100 mm) aluminum battens in REF 92 Copenhagen Oak were incorporated throughout the balcony areas to provide both privacy and shading for individual units. The vertical battens add depth and warmth to the façade while creating a distinctive architectural feature that contrasts with the building’s grey, white, and dark exterior materials.
The same woodgrain aesthetic continues into the amenity and canopy areas, where SAGIREV 6″ V-Groove panels in REF 92 Copenhagen Oak were installed on the underside of the canopies. Pairing SAGIREV with SAGIBATTEN creates a consistent wood-look design language throughout the project, carrying the Copenhagen Oak finish from vertical screening elements to overhead ceiling and soffit applications.
Together, the two systems deliver the warmth and character of natural wood while providing a durable, low-maintenance architectural solution suited to a modern multifamily environment.
